Nonprofit Overview
Mission: NAMI Tarrant County supports, educates, and advocates for persons with mental illnesses and their families. We do this and it is all FREE to our community. We offer free support groups, classes, training, & ways to volunteer & give back.
Target demographics: to help all ages from youth to adults with mental health and mental disorders so they can begin to THRIVE vs just survive.
Geographic areas served: Greater Fort Worth (Tarrant County, Johnson County, Parker County, & Wise County)
Programs: Informational and educational programs served 2500 people.
individual advocacy and support served 2500 people
participation in community, local governments and national mental health organizations to encourage and improve services for mentally ill persons and their families served 460,000 people.
