Mystic Jungle Educational Facility

Mystic Jungle is one of the most important facilities to help educate and preserve the animals they care for the future. I personally have learned a lot. They have helped individuals that had to find accommodation's for exotic pets. They are a class act in my book and one of my favorite to donate too.

Excellent facility ������. We love the staff. They take excellent care of their animals. My favorite is Spike. He's my dude...lol. Visit.you won't regret it.

I got to know MJEF after a storm flooded their house and took out their walk in chiller and I was able to help. I was amazed at how much of their lives and everything they had they gave for the animals that needed them. I was finally able to visit late last December and arrived the morning after two days of heavy rain. Yes, there were some puddles but as we entered what they call the jungle, you could hear Zar complaining about a puddle in his environment. After the weather we had, that was the only complaint and no one missed a meal.
Wonderful place and all they can talk about are their plans to give the animals more space and even better environments.

Great visit to your home for the misfits, thank you for having the compassion to take these living creatures on and make your lives all about giving them a good life. It was so neat to see the animals so close and in an intimate environment, small tour where we can ask all the questions we want, and the staff is so friendly and their genuine care for the animals shines through. This was a beautiful experience and I look forward to bring more friends and family to your wonderful place!

I love Mystic Jungle Educational Facility! All volunteer staff do whatever it takes for all the residents to have their very best life in their furever home.
They educate the community with outreach as well as onsite tours. Every time I go, I learn something new.

My children and I have been to Mystic Jungle for tours and special events. The experience is so valuable and enriching. We have learned so much about conservation as well as rehabilitation and rescue of many different species. The staff is dedicated and so full of knowledge. I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful facility.

MJEF is a prime example of a truly ethical facility who respects all animal life; they not only preserve the Asian Leopard but have given homes to many misplaced exotics.
The expertise of Vera Chaples is remarkable while the facility educates the public on exotic animals and animal welfare. The animals at MJEF are given the best of care in a professionally run facility.

Ethical Practices: Pet domestic rabbits are never disrespected or fed to big cats as treats nor does MJEF Live Feed pet rabbits or any animal to rehabbing bobcats; instead MJEF follows ethical alternatives in rehab, teaches a proper big cat diet and educates the public on why live feeding is unnecessary to animals in captivity or rehab. Please support ethical facilities!

This facility, their residents, & the volunteer wildlife handlers are God sends. Coupled with their mission to educate people on animal welfare through school visits, arranged events, and online presence, they are truly a community asset.

Mystic Jungle is amazing. Everything they do for those cats is wonderful. I love visiting when I can. My 4 year old is in love with "The Jungle" and her favorite cats Zar & Spike.

I have visited this educational facility a couple times and their dedication to the animals and their enrichment is phenomenal! If you are ever in the Live Oak, Fl area...must go for a tour! Vera and her family are AMAZING people!

With the help from Mystic Jungle Educational Facility, Dennylee and Bannah were reunited after months of separation. So very thankful for all they do for the rescues and for people.

I took my grandkids for a day of fun learning. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and special while telling you things you never knew about their special animals. Can't wait to go back!

The Mystic Jungle is a great place that provides above-average care of the animals who reside here. The staff makes sure all the animals have suitable food, housing, vet care, and activities to keep their residents from being bored. The Jungle does community outreach in that they bring some of the animals to events at the local schools and the library. The Jungle has weekly tours as well as many private tours. This is a top of the line facility.

Mystic Jungle is a fantastic example of what a sanctuary should be. Vera and Mark not only have a deep and wide love and knowledge of the animals, they love to share it with the public. I recommend anyone wanting to see a true labor of love and devotion to pay them a visit.

A great, affordable place for the whole family. We took my granddaughter and she lived it. Everyone was nice and you can tell they love and take great care of the animals. Nice facility and beautiful animals.

Not only a wonderfully fun place to go with the kids, but very educational also. You don't need to have kids to go, you just need to have a love for animals❤️

Mystic Jungle is run by Vera Chaples, a very special lady with a very special gift of helping and caring for the 'big cats. She uses her experience and expertise to provide each special animal with what they need and keeps them in an environment where they thrive and flourish, happy and content while under her expert and loving care.

Loved visiting Mystic Jungle and learning about the animals. Great tour very informative and fun for all ages! Staff was very courteous and professional! We will definitely be back!

I take my 4 grandkids there they loved it and learned so much about the animals vera and her stuff answers all questions the kids asked this place is great for families

Amazing loving place. They are not just a cat place, they have so much more. With how they do their new tours the kids & I get to see some of the smaller residents and even get to hold some. My daughter loves the ferrets, son the snake. The love and hands on care all the many residents get is so amazing to see. Hearing about the stories of how they've ended up there and seeing progress forward each trip is something I love. My best memory was from my first trip there. My daughter was a baby and I was holding her. This when we could walk close to the older Leopard Rosie, she was watching us so close then started talking to the baby. Made us smile and is something I will never forget.

I am very impressed with Mystic Jungle. They are a small non profit and 100% of dinations go to the cats. I donated and was very pleased to have helped.

This facility does such a wonderful job with their rescue animals. They cater there tactics and techniques to each animals behavioral needs. Anyone can tell how passionate they are about conservation and care for these magnificent creatures. The tours are informative and inspiring to it's guests.

Mystic Jungle is an awesome nonprofit that takes great care of there animal family members. In May of this year they will be putting on Jungle Jam which is a great opportunity to come out and meet the animals and have a good time.

Such a wonderful non profit organization who truly cares for their animals! I have never seen such happy felines!
