My association and involvement with MyLifeLine started in 2010 initially as a donor, and I was so impressed with the organization and its mission that I eventually became a Board Member and remain involved to this day.

I first heard about MyLifeLine through a close friend who was familiar with what my family and friends had experienced. My Dad had recently passed away from a form of brain cancer and during this time I had seen firsthand how much an effort it was for my Dad, our family and all my parent's friends and colleagues to keep on top of communications and updates, provide encouragement and support as well as help and assistance with daily mundane tasks (and everyone wants to help which is wonderful but difficult to coordinate).

it was a serious effort for everyone involved, and when I discovered what MyLifeLine offered and that it was specific to the cancer community, I realized its value and potential impact to anyone dealing with cancer and so I became involved. During my time with MyLifeLine I have witnessed and heard so many great success stories, watched how patients and families and friends have used the tools available to truly enrich their lives during a difficult time in so many ways beyond the social aspect.

MyLifeLine receives great feedback from their user community and is very in-tune with evolving needs which is reflected in a continuous enhancements program to the organization's web application. And all of this is accomplished by a very small group of amazingly dedicated staff and volunteers who deliver this free service to well over 100,000 users worldwide (people in over 120 countries currently use and rely on the MyLifeLine service which is pretty wild when you think about it). So why MyLifeLine? I simply wish I had been aware of their services when my Dad was going through cancer, and that is my goal, to help make sure that other families are aware of this organization and its potential - it works!

The primary features offered by MyLifeLine.org (MLL) are downplayed when they are described as a blogging tool and resource calendar to communicate with your support community. It should instead be thought of as truly a “lifeline”. Whenever I wanted to reach out to my support group to share the emotional journey I was travelling, all I needed to do was access MLL. I could compose my message and experience instant emotional relief.

I can honestly say MyLifeLine.org was critical to my survival. It provided an excellent way for me to control the emotional roller coaster that I frequently rode. It also became a positive, daily motivator since I knew I was developing an audience who wanted to hear how my journey was progressing and how I was coping. MLL allowed me to feel connected, to be useful, to be helpful, and to chart a path to the day where once again I would be well.

MyLifeLine.org has positively impacted the lives of families affected by cancer since 2007. This organization has a heart of gold and continues to innovate and take care of patients and the people who love them. As a Board member, I know they are concerned with keeping costs low and putting as many resources as possible into program delivery and the infrastructure to support the program's sustainability. We want MyLifeLine.org to be here for patients, caregivers, families, and friends - its mission to connect and inspire is critical for improving healing outcomes. Please support this organization, it will be one of the best investments you'll ever make. Thank you!

MyLifeLine.org is an amazing organization that gives free websites to people affected by cancer so they can easily connect with family and friends all in one place and relieves the burden of communication. They have great customer support and features that make managing your cancer experience incredibly less stressful.

I have been involved and helping MyLifeLine.Org for about 3-4 years. It is a fantastic non-profit that fills the void within the cancer world. They provide the opportunities for patients and caregivers and friends an open or closed atmosphere (Non-Facebook) for providing support as patients and their friends are going through one of the toughest times in their lives.

It truly is life-changing and research has proven that having a strong support community assists with battling disease.
