The Cavalry Hill Public Library and Northwoods Housing Community have been very supportive of Mycelium's outreach services -- Spore Huntsville. We were the recipients of their first mobile 3D printer cart, which was fully equipped with everything needed to bring 3D printer technology and resources to a community that serves special populations.

Dan and Jeanette are great -- so friendly and resourceful! With the huge support from Toyota Motors, Rocket City 3D, and Randolf School, they dedicated unmatched time and energy to raise the money needed to complete the project and donate it to us. We are ever grateful for those efforts!

To further show our gratitude and support our partnership, we were very flexible by allowing them to teach and host skill-building workshops at our facility.

I've been impressed with how Mycelium brings together new technologies to solve clusters of basic life problems . . . fusing everything from 3D printing, Robot Gardening, Robot Cooking, and a distributed food network into cohesive answers to some really big questions.
Smart people . . . thinking big picture.

Dan taught me what I needed to know about 3D printers so I could pick one. He went out of his way to help me assemble it once I got one. Because of that, I was able to print PPE for local health workers. This is the "pay it forward" kind of help.

Very helpful group of people. Always willing to give their advice on new technology and share their knowledge. They have some really impressive projects that they have designed up to help the community. I was there for their big reveal for the 3D printer that they donated to a local library and community center in Huntsville Alabama.

They had a great class on 3D printing and what I could do with it. It was really cool to learn how I can make a lot of fun projects and the future possibilities of 3D printing!

Mycelium has been working hard on a food system vision for Huntsville and they are dedicated to work for a sustainable future. I have volunteered with them by creating food exchange and restaurant maps for Huntsville, Alabama. I have also attended the brainstorming events for the food system vision. Mycelium combines technology and education for creating sustainable systems and truly want to enable and empower our local population starting with young generations. Highly recommend this nonprofit and can't wait for them to execute their plans for a thriving future.

Mycelium has an incredible array of free classes on 3D printing for self-reliance. I learned a lot on how to get started and manufacture my own products at home. They focus on modern technology for reducing resource consumption and moving towards a circular economy for a sustainable future. This is the unique aspect of this NGO and am grateful for their educational programs such as SPORE.
