I started fostering for My Why Rescue a couple years back, I can't say enough amazing things about them. The owner goes above and beyond for all dogs and listens and trusts her fosters while giving so much support for any of the dogs needs! I found one of my AMAZING dogs through fostering with her, if it wasn't for her my boy would not be here with me today. She gives all dogs the chance they need and the fosters and adopters all the support possible!
If you're looking to adopt a dog you should look no further than My Why Rescue. They're a foster based rescue so they really know the dogs they have under their care. They saved my boy Pete from Palm Beach Animal Care & Control’s euthanasia list. Pete was found abandoned and emaciated by animal control and taken to the shelter. He was on the euthanasia list because he was exhibiting extreme kennel stress. Not many rescues would save a six year old pitbull, but that's what makes My Why Rescue special. They rescue the dogs that other rescues wouldn't and work tirelessly to find the perfect home for them. Pete received a full work veterinary workup and dentistry prior to adoption. Being a foster based rescue My Why Rescue was able to tell me that Pete was dog, kid and cat friendly. They allowed me to do a foster to adopt trial to be sure that Pete would be happy in our home. Pete is an ambassador to his breed in every way possible. I can't imagine my life without him and it's all thanks to My Why Rescue.
I was on my way to work one day when i received a text saying “do you know anyone interested in adopting a catahoula her deadline is today so if someone doesn’t take her, they are going to euthanize her”. I was heartbroken and determined so i drove straight to ACC (Animal care and control shelter). upon arriving nobody let me even see the catahoula because she was considered “vicious”. after explaining to me i cannot have her unless i go through a rescue to adopt her, nobody helped me from the shelter in the process mind you. Mywhy was called from a very generous volunteer that knew bailey was a sweet loving girl in a stressful environment. After calling mywhy they released the dog to me and we have been inseparable since. Kristine is truely such an incredible person. Thankyou for all your help again, bailey is loved and in good hands!
