Programs: During the 2013-14 fiscal year, my sister's place served the largest number of clients in the agency's history; serving 511 women, 597 children, and 94 men. My sister's place answered 1,109 crisis calls, facilitated 1,377 office visits, led 1,903 office visits, led 1,789 crisis sessions, and offered 45 support groups for women and children. My sister's place accompanied 26 victims to the hospital for medical assistance. 49 women, 79 children and 1 male were housed at my sister's place safe house. The agency, as it exists today, is stronger and more stable than ever before, having to serve an increasing number of clients each year. My sister's place offers case management services, support groups, hospital accompaniment, parenting classes, safe shelter, and community education.
