My Sister’s Keeper has truly been a “Suddenly Blessings “ to me! I had to go through Radiation and just being around those Beautiful women really helped me on my Journey! The Organization is a Healing Source of PEACE! A SAFE PLACE!!! The Atmosphere is filled with Love and kindness!
At age 34, I discovered my own lump and was diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma in April of this year. After seeking fellowship through a popular cancer support organization, I knew I truly needed to find people who looked like me. After hesitantly joining a zoom call from MSK, I planned to remain inconspicuous. Instead, I felt so welcomed that I ended up sharing more than anyone else on the call! So far, my first event was A Walk In Her Shoes and I was left nearly speechless at the genuine camaraderie on display! I’m so impressed with MSK already and I can’t wait to get more involved once I’m in remission and feeling more like myself!!
I was diagnosed with blood cancer this year, and My Sister's Keeper has been a wonderful support group. My big sister is a member of my church. My big sister calls me every month to check up on me. My Sister's Keeper is a very loving and caring group. I enjoy art therapy A Resin to Play. I have met new people. This amazing organization lives up to their name; they truly are my sister's keeper.
"My Sister's Keeper has truly blossomed from its roots in supporting women with breast cancer in Cleveland to becoming a beacon of hope for women battling any form of cancer across multiple regions, including Columbus, Texas, and Kentucky. Its evolution reflects a profound commitment to empowering and uniting women in their fight against cancer, transcending geographic boundaries to provide support, resources, and a sense of community to those who need it most. A remarkable journey of compassion and solidarity."
