This woman, Asma Hanif collects thousands of dollars from donors and mosques nationwide. Herself and her children are well supported, however, the women "she serves" are treated like animals. But only the ones that she can benefit from, whether monetarily or service wise. The house contains expires hygiene products and food is provided on sporadic basis. The women must buy any meat other than lamb donated almost a decade prior. The board consists of all family members and Ms Hanif calls the shelter "her house". She illegally collects money from the women while terrifying them through her volunteers. Some of those volunteers are used to communicate threats so that Ms Hanif can run from direct involvement. Her volunteers refuse to stand up for the rights of women. Lamb and rice is not sufficient meals for children. She refuses to purchase the women new underwear, hygiene products, transportation passes, medication, lawyer fees. I ask you...where is this money going? Paying rent and utilities for "her house" is not appropriate dispersement of tax exempt funds. I request that the proper authorities do an audit and gain insight into this tax shelter and free ride for the Hanifs to dissuade future organizations from doing the same. Children should not be abused when they are trying to stabilize their life, women should not fear someone who designated herself as a trailblazer for the homeless and hungry, while contributing to this very population. I appeal to the public to direct your charity of financial means, time, and good intentions to an organization that meets the image they project and do not hide and lie to the public.
