I’ve been volunteering at MAS Minnesota for close to a year now, and it has been an amazing experience. There are so many great people, and they’ve helped me grow into a better person. They offer many incredible programs, making this one of the best organizations to volunteer for.

I personally am very fond of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota (MAS MN). My family and I participate in their events almost every weekend and always look forward to them. They are very welcoming and involved in community works and help people of all backgrounds to learn things for themselves in the proper manners. Would highly recommend getting involved with this Organization or at least learning a little bit more about them and their mission.

Muslim American Society MAS is a vibrant organization whose focus is to spread peace and harmony among different communities based on Islamic universal principles of love, peace and justice for everyone regardless of their color, ethnicity and race. Being an Islamic organization MAS not only provides services to Islamic community but they have programs tailored to support communities at large by providing food shelves, free clinics, and other community welfare programs. MAS youth programs are very good to develop young as responsible citizens and future leaders.

I attended this nonprofit to receive a COVID vaccination, and I was so grateful that they opened their doors to the public and also for their wonderful organization, leadership, and facilities during the event. Everyone there was enormously kind and welcoming.

I appreciate the MASMN opening their Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccine clinics to the general public. This generosity allowed me to find an appointment on short notice for a family friend who was in a tough situation. She would not have been able to make two appointments in the future. We needed a single appointment ASAP and their easy-to-access clinic in south Minneapolis area was a real miracle for us.

MAS MN is a great community it serves the community with a valuable activities , food-shelves, youth programs, senior citizens program , its hosts a yearly convention that benefits the community. I am very happy and thankful for MAS MN for serving my community

MAS-MN serves as an organization for the Muslim community, by the Muslim community through the social services, youth programs, and Islamic education programs. Some of the events held by MAS-MN are Muslim Day at the Capitol, Family Camp, monthly Qiyams, food banks, and much more.

From 2015, I was a volunteer with MAS MN and I have grown so much during my time with MAS. I have learned so much in terms of leadership, organizing, and more. Life long bonds were created with so many people. I am truly grateful that an organization such as MAS MN exists and that I am privileged enough to be apart of it :)

MAS-MN has become an invaluable resource for Minnesota. It facilitates learning and understanding between different faiths. I've worked with MAS-MN though Minnesota Council of Churches. Not only does it provide valuable service for MN Muslims but also for other faiths within our state. The services that MAS-MN provides are important for stability and growth of our state.

I came to US as a student and being from away from home and family was hard until I found my MAS family! I can’t imagine what my experience of getting used to new environment would be without MAS. It is amazing gathering and opportunities to impact your community at large is so great. After I participated in couple events I wanted to be part of it and started volunteering in all events that I could. I have been part of weekly, biweekly, monthly, and annual events. One that i will mention is interfaith dialogues that have monthly where we have Christians, Jews, Muslims, and other religion if they want to join our discussions in regards to politics, culture, faith, and other subjects! I feel like MAS work is highly highly underrated!

Muslim American Society is a community hub for all ages and all cultures. As a community builder MAS helps Muslim and non muslim to be united in common ground and understand each other in positive way. I've been a donor and volunteer for MAS over 5 years and still feel enthusistic to do more moving forward

This organization is very keen on serving the community. It always wants to keep the brothers and sisters involved through adult usras, fajr programs and volunteering. But more importantly, they want to focus on their youth. Young teens and children have the opportunity to have fun while learning. There are youth usras and also sports programs.

I am a part of this society in Blaine.And that fact that they really get all parents, children and youth get involved in all the different programmes they offer.And am volunteering in weekend schools,there. The food shelf for all pple from all over mn,with the help of all volunteers is a great project
The fact that they not only focused in their community they try to reach out,for eg,into other communities like churches for pple in need of help,and the annual community gathering co-ordinated with these council churches for the taking heart event,is also one .The co-existence of all ethnicity is very important aspect of every society.

The MAS youth events I've attended have been welcoming and informative. The organizers place a lot of emphasis on maintaining a welcoming community and establish a sense of confidence and belonging in Muslim youth.

MAS MN is an extremely active and vibrant community. It caters to all: youth, adults, and elders alike. They are especially involved with the youth, and with programs such as summer camps and weekly youth gatherings, they provide a place for the youth to go and be a part of their community.

Great programs for children and teens which have my kids involved in learning and helping the community. The food-shelve that they offer to the community is an example. When my kids take part in the food-shelve, it makes them feel good to help others.

I have been attending MAS Blaine Center 7+years. Love being part of this community.

I love Blaine Masjid because of the tight knit community that I have seen grow over the years. I love being apart of the numerous programs that it establishes both for the family, kids and the youth.

It is one of the best Masajid and Islamic centre in Blaine,MN. They have community programs all year around and some where they invite local police and elected officials from the Blaine city and MN state. I Recently attended the taking heart program. For me it was an amazing experience.

The Muslim American Society is a great platform to activate young Muslim youth. This year, one of their signature projects, Friday Night Live, planned an event to tackle social justice. Attendees were able to leave with action items in their hands for issues they showed passion in. Another example of youth empowerment and activism through the Muslim American Society is the Sunday youth group, MY Life, where girls had monthly field trips/ social projects. One of which was visiting a nursing home, providing mutual benefit to the girls and the elderly. The girls were able to understand the weight of public service & giving back and the elderly were able to enjoy their time with the girls.
