Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Environment

Mission: To support activities and projects that provide opportunities for the public to participate and observe environmental research and to provide environmental education opportunities for students in the general muskegon area.

Programs: From the month of april to october the education activities have effected 5 schools and summer programs. About 2,000 students attended. The research program has been an ongoing migratory bird research activity conducted by wildlife biologist brian johnson that has seen over 68 species capture, identified and checked for their health. In addition an amphibian count survey has taken place each spring for the last two years.
