My students (and students in all grades) have participated in MOCFA classes for over 10 years. The classes are well prepared, student friendly and of high interest for teachers and students. Many teachers utilized MOCFA classes to enhance Social Studies, multicultural and art activities. The variety of classes ensures that all grade levels find something of interest. There is diversity, cultural information, slide shows and wonderful art projects with each class. The Museum itself is worth a visit or a field trip. Students view artists' works, listen to a bit of history and learn about a variety of crafts. I highly recommend MOCFA as an enriching experience for all elementary schools.

This is a small jewel of a museum. Their exhibits of craft and folk art are focused on areas often missed by larger museums. The folk art shows feature items from all over the world, from Chinese slippers to Brazilian statues. The intimate size of the museum and high quality explanatory material make the entire experience very instructive and delightful.
