Mission: Musana community development organization exists solely to support programs and capital development of the musana ngo in iganga, uganda, which is working towards self-sustainability. Mcdo provides both financial support and expertise in areas such as construction, craft skills, education, and financial reporting.
Target demographics: Committed to providing shelter, health, education, and life-skills to impoverished women and children so that they may become economically and socially independent.

Programs: Employing - more than sixty Ugandans on staff Educating - more than 430 children at Musana’s Nursery and Primary School (preschool - 7th grade) Scholarship Programs - Support over 150 children in the surrounding villages so that they may attend local primary schools and Musana’s boarding school. In addition sponsors over 30 secondary school (high school) students through a scholarship program. Training and Skill Development - Empowers over 120 local impoverished women through skill-development, employment, and microfinance loans, enabling them to start their own businesses . Borehole - Provides clean water for over 200+ families in the community on a daily basis Workshops - Educating over 1,500 women annually about nutrition, hygiene, and family planning Community Health Center - under construction Secondary School - under construction
