It was a perfect place to visit and the Veteran walls are beautiful granite plaques telling stories of war heroes from the Civil war right to the Iraq war. I was so touched it may be cry. Such bravery of these veterans it leaves you breathless. It honors all US veterans,living and deceased. I was so proud to be able to view these plaques and felt I knew a bit more about each Veteran
A group of volunteers has banded together to create one of the most unique and popular memorials to veterans in the United States. Our community support has been fantastic and our impact on veterans and their families has been remarkable. Onsite,we hold ceremonies annually on Memorial Day and Veterans day, we host individual veteran honor ceremonies throughout the year, we supply docents to help the public understand and appreciate the plaques installed on the memorial walls and we maintain an active website honoring veterans.
