I am a volunteer at MMFM and I can't say enough wonderful things about them. Monica along with all the volunteers truly love the dogs and treat them like our own personal dogs. I would recommend them to any and everyone.
The dogs at Moving Mountains are definitely some of the most spoiled rescue dogs on the planet!
They have a pond and several acres to run and swim everyday! They have central heat and air all year long. They get treats several times a day. They have tons of toys to play with and whenever they want to get a different toy it’s available for them!

As an individual, who is an animal lover, I am amazed by MM. I have known Monica for several years. Here dedication to these fur babies is so amazing. She loves them so much, takes excellent care of them in all the ways needed. She spends hours accepting a great home for these babies. She operates off of donations and could always use the donation from food all the way up to medical/surgeries needs. She is doing an amazing service to these fur babies.
It’s awesome! The kennel is big and spacious, the dogs have their own big pasture with a pond, and plenty of toys. The dogs individual personality and needs are taken into account at all times which leads to safe socialization. When I’m ready to adopt, this will be my first stop.
Two years ago we was looking to adopt a dog from a rescue and found this recue was close to our house. I began talking to the ladies and felt like I had been friends with them for years. They taught me so much about bringing in a rescue dog into a new environment with our dog. They did daily check ups on us and our dog,Kila. Made sure we had all we needed from food to sending me articles about decompression for a dog. I had never heard of this and didn't quite understand it but the ladies that run this rescue are wonderful and will help you every step of the way. So fast forward 2 years andstill keep in touch with everyone and had been tossing up the idea of a puppy. The rescue got a puppy so I now have gotten my 2nd dog from here and this rescue has became like a family to us. I could not put into words how great Moving Mountains for Mastiffs is and what it has done for my family and my 4 legged kids. I'm on Facebook if anyone has any questions and would like to ask me. They are very dedicated to finding the right dog for your family & for the dog's situation and special needs. This facility is more than a rescue, it is a home. The rescued are more than just dogs, they become family. You can see the pride the staff has in their work & dedication. The facility is meticulously cleaned & well maintained, always with the pups comfort, care & best interet kept in mind. Pups get ample opportunity to run on the spacious property, playtime, exercise & socializing is important to them. MMFM is the best run facility I have seen.
Moving Mountains for Mastiffs was recommended by another rescue. I live in Ohio where many Cane Corsos are surrendered or let loose to roam the streets until caught. Jupiter was one such rescue. She wandered the acres behind a Home Depot for months. She was finally captured. I was contacted due to my involvement with Cane Corsos. Many other rescues were full and could not take her. One call to Moving Mountains For Mastiffs and Jupiter was accepted into the rescue. I was approved to foster her in our home. She was very fearful. It took a few days to gain her trust. With love and patience, she came out of her shell. Jupiter was transported to another foster that increased her courage and trust. She was posted on the MMFM site. Very quickly, a family fell in love and adopted her. She is the love of their lives. We continue to associate with MMFM because of their integrity, their core values, willingness to help, quick response to illness or needs of the foster home or dog, and the passion for the Mastiff breed. We highly recommend this rescue and the people associated with it!
Monica who runs the rescue is a very kind hearted person. She puts the pups needs first before anything, she will do any fundraiser anything she can to help raise money to provide for the dogs. When I’m ready for my next rescue I will be contacting Monica!!!
There was a Cane Corso that needed to be rescued. They were able to take him from the terrible condition he was living in. I am so grateful that they came to his rescue. They are amazing. I highly recommend them.
ABOVE AND BEYOND!.....that is what this group is all about. From the staff, volunteers, donors, and accommodations for the dogs. I can't say enough about how much we love and appreciate Moving Mountains For Mastiffs. We weren't looking for a dog a the time we got out dog Wyatt, but through a strange turn of events he joined our family and has been a God send ever since. The awesome crew at M.M.F.M's has been with us every step of the way and when Wyatt wasn't feeling well they were there for us 24/7 to answer any questions or point us in the right direction to get Wyatt fully recovered. My husband and I love M.M.F.M's almost as much as we love our Wyatt. Thank you all for all you do for not only for the dogs but all of God's creatures including us 2 legged creatures.
This rescue goes above and beyond for all of their animals. They make sure to fit the right dog with the right family. Some dogs go to foster, but overall the dogs are cared for 24/7. They get play time outside and learn basic obedience to get them read for their forever homes! I am so glad to have met the people with this rescue. They are in it for the dogs.
I always try to donate and support this non profit because they truly care about the animals that come to them.
The members and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that the the dogs get the medical care needed, are treated well, and find suitable forever homes.
Each dog is evaluated to determine which is best for small children, men, other dogs, cats, etc.. It’s all part of the important process of ensuring the dog’s needs will be met while also ensuring the new owner is a good fit for a specific dog.
MM4M goes above and beyond for every dog they step up and help! No matter the age, young or old they are in it for the long haul! They are not only there for the adoptions but any time they are needed throughout the dogs life. Once a MM4M member, always a member! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This nonprofit as a whole is the only instance where I have personally witnessed every employee give 150 percent constantly. No matter the time of day or the weather, an employee is always assisting people with their problems or helping individuals in need with their fur babies. I only suggest this nonprofit when it comes to dogs and I highly suggest reviewing and donating to their causes!
Love these people and this rescue! They had clean facilities and happy dogs considering their sad backgrounds. I’m so grateful theyre there to give this big beautiful breed a chance! Adopted my Reggie from here and they’ve been so much help getting him adjusted. I can call them anytime!
Moving Mountains for Mastiffs is an awesome nonprofit rescue. They give large ,/ giant breed dogs a second chance at a home and family. . They provide Live , Vet care and help get these big babies adjusted to where they need to be. Socializing and teaching basic " manners". The staff and volunteers are caring hard working individuals who take their time to help these Babies.
Moving Mountains for Mastiffs gets my highest endorsement. Their top priority is placing rescues in the right home. They insist on a 30 day foster-to-adopt, so that fosters can return a a dog to their care if they find it isn’t a good fit. It’s a wonderful protocol that ensures the rescues are placed in the right home. It made me feel comfortable when agreeing to bring home the biggest dog I’ve ever seen!
When I first contacted the , I was inquiring about a Cane Corso. MMFM said the dog needed a home with a pack. They suggested that Abigail, a Presa Canario, would be a better fit for me and my lifestyle. “If you want a dog that is going to be your pal, she would be a good fit” I didn’t know they were pairing me with my SOULMATE! They made the right call, and found me my best friend and protector.
I knew MMFM was a great organization when I realized they put their rescue’s needs first. What a top notch group of people they have running that organization! They have a wonderful plot of land in Kentucky, where lonely and wounded large breeds can heal and learn to trust again. It’s a very special place, run by very special people. A dog is lucky if they end up at the MMFM ranch, because they’re in the best hands.
I love helping the rescue help and save these wonderful big babies! You won’t find anyone who cares more about the animals!

MMFM worked with me to adopt Moses. I wanted to adopt a rescue and they answered all of my questions and helped me find a dog that would fit in with my family and situation. They continue to support any need or questions that I have and keep in touch with me to follow our journey.
When we visited MMFM we were immediately impressed by the size of the facility. Clean, air-conditioned indoor kennels, each pup getting a nice bed, fresh water & food. Toys, treats, each getting quality time to play in their huge gated acres with an accessible pond. They get to play outdoor several times a day. The facility is efficiently run by very caring people, all who are seriously in it for the dogs!! All the dogs get the care they need & the all important evaluation so that it is placed with the best possible family
I support this rescue and I am familiar with their practices. With that said, knowing the integrity of the people involved, their intent on doing right by potential adopters and the dogs in question. I can say with a certainty that this is the right place for a family to find a good home companion.
I have received excellent communication when working with this rescue. One of the dogs that they pulled was returned after being adopted. They immediately sprung into action, making arrangements for him. They are small and pull a limited number at a time. With that they are able to make sure the dogs have everything they need, both medically and mentally. They will consult with trainers if issues arise. It has always been a pleasure working with MM4M!
I help multiple rescues in Kentucky and Moving Mountains for Mastiffs has been one of my all time favorites they have shown great passion in saving and providing a great life for the animals in need. They also help other big breeds not just mastiffs which is helping the animal community tremendously. Moving Mountains for Mastiffs has been amazing since day one. From the time that I called all the way through the adoption and even more. When I applied online I received a call soon afterwards asked me about my life and what I was looking for in a dog. Throughout the whole process I’ve had someone helping with transport, training in anything any other questions I have. One of the things I love most is how thorough they were in interviewing me, interviewing my friends and doing a house check via FaceTime to make sure that the dog was going to go to a good home. They are awesome!
This organization was extremely helpful in education and training with my dogs and has given guidance in helping with my foster dog here in Maryland. They are always willing to help no matter where the dog is or in any capacity.. they are extremely compassionate and loving and go above and beyond for the care and safety of not just the Mastiff but all breeds in need..
We had the pleasure of adopting our cane Corso from this rescue! We were extremely impressed with the staff and the facility! We also could see how much they love and care for these dogs and want them to live their best lives!
They SAVED my sweet boy!!! I owe them everything !!! My whole life would be different without this baby in my life- I cannot thank them enough for all of their support!!!!
We found ourselves fosters for a sweet Corso who had a very difficult life....abused by his family, rescued by a wonderful man who needed some rescuing himself but refused to get help himself until he knew this dog was safe and cared for. We were so honored to foster this sweet boy. MM4M was supportive and easy to work with and really worked to find the most appropriate adoptive home to this sweet boy who needed a lot of patience and understanding.
My family adopted Max from Moving Mountains for Mastiffs about 1 year ago. They take such good care in finding the best match for their dogs and their applications. They are amazing with communication. I also love that they have in the adoption contract that if someone no longer can care for their dog, the person is expected to give the dog back to the rescue. This is important to keep the dogs from going to a shelter.
Shortly after we got Max, I started to do volunteer transportation for other
MM4M dogs. It has been so rewarding to give back. Also, they are one of the few rescues that pay gas mileage for transportation.

5 stars for sure. Renee is awesome she helped me get a homeless mans dogs out of a situation where they were in the pound. They are Neapolitan mastiffs. I was a mess when I found out that I had rehomed them with a pysicopath
That dumped them out on the side of the road hours away from me. She has been helping me and giving advice on how to fit them into my family. Yes I decided to keep them myself I fell in love with them.

This is an amazing rescue. They are very quick to pull dogs in need and work with shelters to help save the dogs. I got ahold of them about an injured puppy and she was taken to the vet the very same day and had the surgery she needed!

Truly a genuine group of people with the biggest hearts... they jump in to save dogs that others wouldn’t give a second look.. they travel long distance to save dogs and deliver them to new loving homes after training and medical needs are met and a lot of the time are doing it on their own dime. They give themselves 100 % every single day out of pure love to give a second chance to dogs that have been let down by the people that should have loved them. I wish I was closer to meet these loving souls in person. They are a class act and the world needs more people like them.

My son had been asking us for a dog, and we kept saying when we bought a bigger house we would. Well we bought a bigger house this spring and he sure didn’t let us forget. My husband works with Steve Mayo, and he was telling him about the rescue they run for Mastiffs and Cane Corsos. Well we decided to take the plunge and see about adopting. Enter Jupiter. Her story broke our hearts, and we knew we could give her the home she had deserved. It was a rocky start, but thanks to Karen, Renee, Jean, and Monica, we pulled through and couldn’t be happier for this little girl to complete our family!!!
These rescuers are very caring and always there to help you out. They are truely in it to save lives. I am so glad I have gotten a chance to know and work with them.
This is the best and most caring rescue I have ever dealt with. I received my loving dog from them in March. He cane fully vetted and neutered. MMFM takes the time to assess their rescue dogs and works very hard to place them in appropriate homes. He is my companion now and the love of my life. I only wish I could adopt more.
