Mission: We Love We value each person and treat each one with compassion, care, and dignity in a non-judgement environment. We Provide We know that in order to trust and grow individually, people need to first have their basic needs met such as safety, food, warmth and social connection. Many times a warm meal is the key to reaching the whole person-physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. We Create Family We believe people need others for support and encouragement. Therefore, we are in it for the long haul-the ups and downs, different seasons, and we will continue to be a support system throughout their life. In families, everyone has responsibility and ownership. We are committed to modeling and teaching responsibility, respect, pride and a sense of being a part of something bigger than themselves. We Empower Within the context of trusted relationships, hope, confidence, new strengths and talents rise and success happens. We believe each person is created with unique gifts and purpose and we strive to empower them to realize their full potential. We Are Better Together We partner with other organizations to help individuals with resources to enable them to be off the streets and become self-sustaining adults. At Movement 5280 we believe that with the support of provision, love, family, and empowerment, all people can be on the path toward their full potential.
