They leave their victims in this shelter for way too long (over 6 months) and will not allow them the right to call outside for legal advise or assistance. They promise they will provide all of these services to victims but they never do. They also may be feeding their residents tainted food, as some of the children in that shelter were sleeping all day and night and the adults were getting sick. After the victim left that shelter, her and her children's health improved. Police report has been made.

B4 I sound like another bitter x employee let me clarify that I worked at UH nearly 10 years. I managed the Shelter as well as Prevention and Education. I loved working with DV Survivors however management uses VERY abusive tactics to control their employees. HR often talks negatively about Staff w/in hearing range of everyone. I witnessed over 60 employees be terminated. I was threatened and belittled. This so saddens me as many terminated employees were very dedicated and efficient at their job and ultimately it is the clients who suffer from the misinformation inconsistency and lack of concern from management.
