Mission: Morning star boys' ranch, answering god's call to love and serve those in need, are dedicated to building responsible adults by believing in youth, and providing programs to strengthen families and the community.
Programs: The morning star boys' ranch residential program serves severely traumatized boys between 6 and 12 years of age, whose behaviors are so severe that they are unable to be successfully placed in foster care. The program sets behavioral improvement goals for each boy in social skills, emotional regulation, and education, with the goal that the resident's behavior improves enough to be successfully placed in foster or kinship care after leaving msbr. He will continue to receive continuum of care through msbr aftercare services. in - home wrap around care provides support to children that have either been in residential care at msbr and have transitioned to a foster care home or reunified with parents or kinship, or to families and children in the community who are in crisis situations that need a high level of support. Our goal is to provide intense levels of care that give additional stabilization within the home. Services such as parent training, case management, in home case aide, family therapy, life skills mentoring, overnight respite, equine program and 24 hour on-call crisis intervention all help to sustain the work needed to create a more stable environment for children and families in need. the msbr case aide program provides a variety of support services to children and families in need throughout the area. These services include parent training, in home case aides, family therapy, life skills mentoring, tutoring, and teaching emotional regulation skills. besides our residential, case aide and wrap services programs, msbr is a state licenses child placing agency. Through this service with recruit, train, license and support people and families who wish to be foster families, making a difference in the lives of at risk, vulnerable children.
