Can’t call to talk to anyone. When they do call they block their number so call shows as unknown. Who at this day and age answers blocked numbers? They closed my case without even talking to me siting they don’t have any pro bono lawyers in my area. I did not even tell them I was only open to pro bono lawyers. The intake person I talked to said I qualify for services and after our call when send me an email. Never received anything. Person that told me she was closing my account - via voicemail because I did not know they were calling from a blocked number - said she would also send me an email, she did not. When i called them to speak with someone only option was to leave a voicemail, and I requested a call back and explained I had not received any emails that were promised. Over a week now and no call back from that person. My email is correct because I have it in the screenshot i took during the application process. They did nothing to help me. They made my life more miserable.

The assistance I received from the MLSA and Flint Murphit was Life-changing.
My husband and I owned a welding company and were doing well for ourselves and yet both came from relatively poor backgrounds. My husband passed away and I was left with no welder for our business, and distraught and thus had to walk away from our business and home while I was 8 months pregnant and also had a one year old.
We lost everything, which means we had no money to defend ourselves against all of the creditors. (I also emotionally could not deal with it at the time). Thank GOD, for MLSA and Flint for helping me through this troublesome time so that I could get myself back on my feet and take care of my children.
They were very attentive, understanding and most importantly...non-judgmental. (losing everything made me feel worthless). They showed in every way they were there to help. NOW THAT's a TRUE SUPER HERO! Many Blessings to you all!
