Mission: Monmouth Conservation Foundation is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1977 by a group of residents concerned about the rapid development of Monmouth County. The Foundation acts with the knowledge that what we don''t preserve today will be lost forever. To date, MCF has participated in the preservation of over 5000 acres of open space. MCF works to increase public awareness of legal options available to citizens to protect their land and assists local citizens groups as they approach municipalities on sensitive land issues. MCF''s strength is its ability to act swiftly and impartially, free from bureaucratic and political restraints.
