Ceo Racine Salon & Spa

Has been seen at this location with her good friend of 20+ years Dr.John Muratori.
What a selfish display to put our community woman at risk. Please beware!

Mondays at Racine provided me with so much care from making me feel special and beautiful through their salon services but even more so for the love and concern they showed me. They also helped me with side effects from medications with massage treatments and tips to help with the pain. I am grateful and blessed to be supported by this program and all those who make it happen. God bless you all.

This charity is all heart and soul! Such hard working and loving people that are so committed to helping as many people they can that are effected by cancer. Every person that helps is amazing. The kind words that are bestowed on all who walk in the door of that salon to help them get through all that cancer does is beautiful.

Monday's at Racines provides valuable services on so many levels. The staff is very warm, supportive and provide comfort to those who are battling not only physical, but emotional trauma. Everyone is so supportive! They offer the clients, coming to Racines, a much needed haven during their cancer treatment time. The complimentary services are so needed to help the clients have some "normalcy" in their daily lives. I can not thank the staff at Racines enough for all of their love, concern, compassion, and dedication in helping others. Thank you God for the founders of "Mondays at Racines", they truly make a difference in the lives of so many!

The Angels at Monday's at Racine are the most giving, caring, kind, understanding people! At a time when we cancer patients are in the midst of treatments that wear us down, alter our appearance, and give us no guarantees for a future, these women lift us up, share their strength and talents, and make us feel beautiful! No matter how exhausted I was from chemo or radiation, I ralleyed for my appointnents, and always walked out emotionally, spiritually and physically rejuvenated. Amazing volunteers, an amazing and unique place!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I thank God for the care and compassion I received from Cynthia, Rachel and all the staff at Racines. The diagnosis of cancer is emotionally wrenching but with the understanding and love they give, it makes it all more bearable. When my insurance did not cover me for a wig, Racines came to the rescue. They held me hand when my head was shaved and complimented me and massaged my scalp. That's only the beginning. I am continually spreading the good word about the services they provide, free, to cancer patients. I continue to support them in any way possible and always will. They are not just service providers, they are FRIENDS! Thank you for being there for me.

I traveled an hour each way, one Monday a month and not just for the massage, or Rikki, or yoga, or manicure, etc... it was for the loving environment created by the staff and the companionship of the other woman who were going thru cancer treatments too! Having survived for 15 months now, I have lived longer then 70% of the people who are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. With the support of my family, friends and organizations like Monday's at Rancines, I hope to be one of the lucky 8% who survive for 5 years. Thank-you so much!

BLESS the founders of this fine orgnization ... Changing the face of cancer one Monday at a time.

I'm a local health care professional who encouraged patients for several years to take advantage of the wonderful services offered for cancer patients to renew, refresh and recharge at the salon. Now, as a new client and recipient of their services I can attest to their boundless comfort and compassion extended by their founders and volunteers. They truly are the sunshine to many client's cloudy days. Mondays at Racine nourishes internal and external beauty.

Mondays at Racine - where do I start? My review stems from the experience of taking my mom there while she was battling pancreatic cancer and from my volunteer work for the past 7 months. From the moment you step into the salon you know it is an extra-special place. It's not just about the free beauty and wellness services, when cancer patients have a hard time facing the public, Mondays at Racine becomes their safe haven. The harsh effects of chemotherapy & radiation are eased and it helps give them the lift they need during this difficult time. These patients are going through cancer treatment which targets their tumors, Mondays at Racine targets the entire person. They all have a natural inner beauty, but to feel beautiful on the outside and to express that with a smile, is priceless.

I can only give them the highest recommendation. Mondays at Racine's cancer care program, which offers complimentary wellness services to those undergoing cancer treatment, has an immediate impact that provides hope, while offering a faster healing and recovery time. Unlike other organizations, MAR has an unwavering commitment to provide these services free of charge, with no financial barriers preventing anyone undergoing cancer treatment from accessing the support they provide. Their Charter Salon program, which is a growing infrastructure of salons offering these services in their local community, is of tantamount importance and should be available in every zip code across the US. Their mission is to accomplish this, and i truly believe they will. MAR's leadership is comprised of people with heart and the will to get the job done. They have not wavered from their mission and continue to move forward with an energetic and visionary team to provide top-notch care to their clients in a warm and caring environment. Kudos!
