Mission: The mohawk hudson land conservancy enhances the quality of life in the mohawk and hudson river valleys by preserving natural, scenic, agricultural and historic landscapes, in partnership with landowners, not-for-profit organizations, businesses and governments for the benefit of current and future generations.
Programs: Acquired parcels of land for conservation and expanded existing trails on conservancy lands and developed plans for strategically protecting additional parcels of land.
outreach is the activity by which the mohawk hudson land conservancy (mhlc) connects its land conservation efforts with the residents of and visitors to the capital region and specifically our tri-county service area. The outreach efforts consist of the promotion of the conservancy to increase public awareness as well as enhance the perception of mhlc as the capital region's land trust through public events and educational sessions, communications such as print, electronic media, and news print, and information dissemination through word-of-mouth, person-to-person meetings, and more.
