As a board member and volunteer with this organization, I have seen this team respond to the line-of-duty death of an officer on many occasions. The way in which this team works tirelessly behind the scenes to plan and execute the highest honors for a fallen officer is unmatched. The team attends to the most minute details and takes this huge burden from the officer's family and agency so they may begin to grieve and process their loss immediately.

A sure sign of the success and positive impact of this organization is the number of lifelong relationships the team has formed with families of fallen officers whom they have served as well as law enforcement agencies and funeral homes. I am proud to be a part of this great team, and although I dread the call that the team is needed, when that call comes, it is an honor to respond.

This team worked the line of duty funeral for my daughter’s father in 2015. The entire logistical part of the funeral was taken care of and not anything the family had to worry about. My daughter, at the time was only 5 years old, and within the last 8 years this team has became her family. This team does amazing things for not only the family of fallen officers but departments and friends the same. They are the unsung heroes, that stay in the background, that take an enormous load off the family and department.
