Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Inspiring passion and celebrating ice sports for all ages and abilities.
Programs: The missoula area youth hockey association had 358 youth players in our winter house and travel hockey programs, as well as 156 kids in our learn to play hockey sessions throughout the season. Approximately 50 volunteer coaches donated their time for these programs. We had 921 adults participate in our recreational adult hockey league and adult clinics. We hosted eight youth hockey and four adult hockey tournatments that attracted a total of 157 teams. In all, nearly 90,000 people visited glacier ice rink during the 2016-2017 season to participate in various hockey, skating and curling events and activities.
