MCEE teaches the teachers economics through many different programs throughout the state of Mississippi. They have been instrumental in training the teachers on the new stet mandated HS class, College and Career Readiness, and tackle complicated economic issues with a fun spin (i.e. Econ 101 Taylor’s Version, Economics of the Music Industry). In addition, they provide opportunities for students across the state to compete and show their economic prowess in the Economics Challenge and Personal Finance Challenge, both televised events.
