This small, hardworking charity is incredibly effective and committed to saving animals. The group is spearheaded by Jessica Cameron, who I've had the pleasure to work with in a professional capacity for more than a decade. I honestly can't believe how much she and her team of fosters and volunteers are able to get done to help the animals of Mississippi, on a small budget - and in their spare time. From fighting pet overpopulation, to saving homeless and stray animals through lifesaving adoption transports, I can't say enough good things about MAP.
