If it wasn't for Michelle and Nick and the team I would be dead or in a facility. They gave me my beautiful service dog that keeps me going every day.

The staff at mission 22 are exceptional. They take the time to actually connect with you. From the moment I walked in they made me feel comfortable and that is a big deal for me. They explain everything and make sure that you and your dog have the best experience possible. Training is made easy and fun with the knowledge and assistance you receive from the trainers. They are very professional and welcoming. They are hands down the best in their line of work.

I was placed with a dog from another organization that failed me and never allowed me to complete training of my dog to be fully tasked trained. Instead they just passed people along because they were "having a hard time" right but. I knew the owner of mission 22 service dogs from that location and she told me that if I ever needed to come for additional training or refreshers that I would always be welcome there.

I went several times and always felt welcomed and the founder went out of her way to help me get new gear for my dog that I needed. She gave me so many choices of vest, leashed, collars and more that I was overwhelmed. The training I was given there was way better than the other organization and while we had fun and laughs everything was always focused on how to help the veterans in the program either with their dog and training needs or just how to get us a short break from ourselves and feel good about life again.

Wow, where do I begin, founder and cofounder, which is a Combat Veteran, (not sure who the one poster is when they said this was not Veteran owned non profit because it is). It’s run by a wife and husband team with years experience. Fully qualified and certified by the AKC foundation.
I’m also a Combat Veteran of 15 years and never thought I’d find more good people or trainers since serving in the military. They take puppies from local shelters and pair them with needing Veterans. So there is a win win there. Starting from scratch these puppies know nothing. But at the end of the course they know things like find the exit, make room in a crowd, help the Veteran if they fell with “Brace” and so so much more. I’m a great judge in character and believe me when I say the owners and trainers have the best interest of the Veteran and their dogs in mind. They have all helped me out when no one else could!
If I do have problems or concerns with training or anything they are always there to listen and give feedback every time without judgement.
Meeting only a couple times a week it’s up to you the Veteran and your new Best Buddy, to continue training at home. What you put into it is what you’ll get! They are there to teach the Veteran also. I’ve learned a lot and gained a second family. Would HIGHLY recommend this non profit to any disabled Veteran that is in need of a great service dog.
My dog and I appreciate everything these folks did for me!

5 out of 5 the folks at mission 22 service dogs were the only ones who would give me the time of day to listen and help. my pup has been a huge part of my healing journey and have gained few friends from the program that I trained with. I love that if I'm struggling I can call Michelle the head lady or one of the other veterans I became friends with it's just not a training facility for you and your dog but a second home and a place to feel safe along with being yourself. Michelle has helped in many ways and some ways that shouldn't even of stepped up to help me with but she's one of those rare gems in today's world that's in this for the veteran and dog not for her or a moment of fame. Les the one volunteer has been a huge impact on guidance thru the program also as he has been thru it himself. I'm thankful to be part of mission22servicedogs

Mission22servicedogs is a amazing organization. They helped my navy veteran get a battle buddy to help with some of his struggles. They offered training having her earn some akc cgc titles. Thank you to the volunteers that make this happen for our veterans.

I've been around M22 since the begining and personally know the founder. Her whole heart is into this and she loves the vets and the dogs she places them with. I definitely recommend M22 to any veteren that is looking for a service dog to help them out.

I wouldn’t be where I am without this amazing organization and the people who run it and are in it. The founder and her husband go out of their way to help everyone, the founder may not be a veteran but she does all she can to make sure us veterans get all the opportunities and help we can. From social gatherings of just veterans to getting someone to come in and help with secondary disabilities. Amazing people and amazing organization.

I’m a combat war veteran, I was super uncomfortable at this establishment. I don’t think they work well with veterans that have severe PTSD, MST, anxiety,TBI, depression, migraines, and panic attacks. It’s more of a social gathering place opposed to a dog training place. They have people that aren’t veterans who get service dogs and train there as well. I never felt welcomed there, and very uncomfortable, very disappointed in the professionalism and service I was given. They gossip, and talk about everybody there, and I feel like there is no privacy. If you tell the owner what you’re going through they’ll tell everybody your business, instead of being there for you. Everybody talks about everyone behind each other’s backs. They display favoritism and exclude people. So if you like to gossip it’s the place for you. It’s a place to socialize with the public, not just veterans. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place, but it was just my experience. It says demographics and geared towards veterans, but the founder isn’t a veteran never served. And they have people who never served and they train at the facility, and get a service dog and free training and free things, while veterans are waiting and asking but can’t get help because the founder is busy helping the civilians first. I’ve personally seen veterans be humiliated, and ridiculed at this establishment. The founder has mental health issues, and takes the problems out on the veterans.

I am sorry you felt this way. It was never bought to our attention you felt this way. We DO NOT place dogs with civilians/ non veterans. You may have misunderstood situation by assuming. We did have a volunteer who had previous converstation with a breeder who offered her one of her pups before offering pups to m22sd .she did bring to training while helping veterans because it was good for the pups in program and to demonstrate how things were done. We will not place a dog with civilian under no condition. There is no favoritism, again sorry you felt that way. I treat all my veterans the same and give them all the same. You signed a contract that says we are not hippa certified with that it can't be controlled what is spoke about by other veterans in program since it is a 2nd home to many and place to spend time together. I control what I can.

You say it's not a place to socialize with veterans but public . I don't ever recall a time that it was a public socialization and I'm very strict on it being a safe place for the veterans. Yes we may just socialize sometimes instead of training because thats what some veterans need .If you call chit chat with the FedEx or UPS drivers public then again I am sorry you feel that way. We are geared Veterans and we are for veterans and we strictly deal with veterans only. Me not being a veteran has nothing to do with anything. I have never claimed i was a veteran. There are 10000 of non profits ran by civilians. Im extremely sorry I failed you with not being a vete. Again as founder I will not help civilians as I'm for my veterans and making sure they are taking care of . Mental health issues ??? I will opening admit I do struggle with anxiety and ptsd but NEVER EVER have I taken it out on my veterans nor will I ever. Those around me know this and will have my back when it comes to that.

I am disappointed to discover that Mission 22 service dogs is not a veteran owned/run nonprofit. It is run by a civilian who has never served our country!! How can you say you are a nonprofit veteran organization? Why lie and have false advertisement? If you are lying about being a veteran organization what else are you lying about? I wouldn't trust Mission 22 service dogs at all. What a slap in the face to those of us that have served our country.

As the founder I am Sorry that you are disappointed that we are not ran by a Veteran. I have never stated I was a Veteran and those around me and know me know I would not do such. I come from a Family full of Veterans and have many friends who are Veterans . I do what I do because of them and those Veterans who need me. Again , I am sorry for the disappointment.
