Causes: Education
Mission: Miracle Tabernacle Outreach Ministries grew out of a need for the neighborhood to be stimulated and enthused about their own community which for about 20 years had begun to deteriorate. There were boarded houses and buildings that were being used by the homeless, prostitution and drug traffic. Volunteers assisted in the food and clothes dis- tribution, rental and utilities referrals. They were screened, trained and educated as to their responsibility and a few become homeowners, began to work on jobs. Our goal was to empower them that they would become good citizens in the community. Many of the abandoned houses and buildings have been torn down or rehabilitated and many of the other Community and Faith-Based Organizations have begun have Outreach Programs that are assisting the Communities.
