Causes: Baseball & Softball, Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services, Sports
Mission: The mission of the Miracle League DFW is to provide children and young adults the opportunity to play baseball regardless of their abilities and to promote community support and sponsorship of our organization. The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the field and allows them to experience playing as part of a team. Games are played on a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other devices while helping to prevent injuries.
Results: The Miracle League DFW Serves 300 Children and young adults each Spring and Fall Season. 800+ volunteer spots are filled each season to help players enjoy the game of baseball!
