Causes: Community Foundations, Philanthropy
Mission: To establish cooperative relationships and to raise funds for the minnesota state academy for the blind unavailable through government sources. These funds will be used to enhance and develop programs at the academy, providing the visually impaired students of minnesota the maximum opportunity to become confident and productive citizens.
Programs: Provided several grants supporting the education of students at the minnesota state academy for the blind. These grants supported the following: design work to update the family and consumer science (facs) room, athletic uniforms and equipment, guide wires and winch replacement for track, african drums, and tuition for two students to attend a class at south central college. 67 individuals benefited.
