I have never experienced such cruel and inhumane treatment before sleeping at the MOTM coffee house being homeless. They allow the locals to steal from each other (they have been made aware and have cameras to see it, they just don't care to actually stop it) one of the night staff Kelley, was seen video taping the homeless sleeping on the floor proclaiming how "nasty" we are. One night I witnessed someone get beat up and Kelley was made aware, but continued to call us all "dirty liars" and took no action to help the man. One other night staff Wilson is known by the the locals that stay there nightly that he sells drugs out of the Chapel and to the homeless people and natives. They allow the others who sleep there to be completely intoxicated and disrespectful to others (stealing, fighting, harassing the women) They DO NOT WASH the pillows and blankets daily that they provide us. They often make us wait well past 10pm multiple times weekly, despite if it's cold or raining or snowing. They will stand by the door and just stare disgustingly at us as if we're filthy animals. Every single morning, they wake us up AN HOUR AND A HALF early than when we have to leave by vacuuming around us telling us to leave and pressing random keys on the piano loudly around 430-445 every. Single. Day. They will often pick on the same specific people and allow the others who stay at night to abuse and harass each other without stepping in at all, they sit and watch. They enjoy the power and control they have over someone who is weaker and in a less privileged situation than themselves. They do the BARE MINIMUM and treat us like dogs and expect us to be GRATEFUL AND APPRECIATIVE that they even decided to bother with helping us. I have been documenting the things they are doing to us, and I do plan on contacting the media and higher ups. They sincerely believe they can get away with allowing criminal activity and being criminals themselves. They aren't in it because they care about us and what to genuinely help. They threaten to leave us on the streets whenever there is a slight disagreement or difference in opinion or explain that something is "in the rules" when it is infact no where in the written rules. They make things up as they go along and get drunk from the power they have over the less fortunate. They aren't doing this for the right reasons and it needs to be made aware of and be seen. This place is a mad house and not improving the homeless situation in Bismarck, but simply enabling it
