Mission: Micah is a multi-racial, multi-faith organization committed to addressing justice issues that have an impact on the community and on the members of micah congregations. Micah's goal is to empower people to act together in pursuit of justice, and to organize so that many people of many traditions can come together to speak with one voice for justice.
Programs: Our membership includes 40 congregations, a growing number of other organizations, and individual supporters. Of many religious traditions, we work in unity to fulfill micahs primary goal: to empower people to act together in pursuit of justice. In addressing a wide range of issues, micah broadens our sphere of influence through affiliations with other like-minded groups: wisdom throughout wisconsin and gamaliel throughout the us. Our key issues are jobs & economic development, housing, environmental justice, education, immigration, civic engagement, racial justice, criminal justice & prison reform, and transportation.
