Mission: The matc foundation supports student success and enhances learning by engaging those who are passionate about the college and the community it benefits. The foundation raises funds for programs and scholarships for matc and its students.
Programs: Milwaukee pbs (formerly milwaukee public television) is owned and operated by the milwaukee area technical college. The foundation administered $5,571,054 in contributions for milwaukee pbs and disbursed $5,784,386 in program support, an increase of 6% over the prior year.
the foundation awarded $622,169 in scholarships and emergency student assistance grants to 880 students. This reflects an increase of 58% in dollars awarded and 74% in the number of students who benefitted.
