Beautiful inside out this is my son daycare teacher Glenda Hills, I met her last year 2016 through an ad on Craigslist in the free section where she was offering a free baby shower through her program Millennium Sistahs Inc to pregnant women and women who've recently had babies. I signed myself and a friend of mines up because being a single mom is not easy and they're was things that my son needed that at the time I couldn't afford. Not only was I flabbergasted with the services and gifts but Since then my son has been attending Doves Daycare with Ms. G since he was 5 months he'll be 1 next month. Ms. G is more than angel she really cares for the community. I've seen women from New Jersey travel all the way to Ms. G. I've even helped refer and sign up mothers in need. Ms. G and her family has been more than a blessing they treat my son with so much love he's spoiled. She not only do baby showers she does food pantries and not just any food pantries I'm talking about the BEST of meats and gourmet desserts. Besides having my son last year if it's anything I am thankful for it's Ms. Glenda and her family. Anybody who knows me know I am not moving from Long Island lol because my son will not be going to no other school. Ppl tell me all the time to come back to Brooklyn there's other daycares my answer will always be NO!! Theres no one who sincerely and genuinely care for my son like Ms. G she could NEVER BE REPLACED!! She just opened her own store called Pandora located on 156 Hempstead turnpike Hempstead, NY 11550. She has everything brand new from clothes for adults to babies, toys, blankets, house decorations, etc. Believe me when I tell you guys your not going to find better deals in BabiesRus, Walmart, target and etc. This is name brand stuff. We have to start supporting black business. People are struggling each and everyday doesn't matter if your working or not. Never be too prideful to ask or receive help. #SheMakesMoreThanDifference
Review from Guidestar
At the time I received the help I was a mom of 8 kids that had very little for my newborn son and this agency helped me with many items I needed for him as well as food. They helped just when I needed it most.
Mellennium Sistas is the Best. I was very glad when i heard about an organization to help my best friend teenage daughter who got pregnant at 16yrs, so i decided to contact the organization Mellinnium Sistas ang got a positive feed back from Ms Glenda Hills ,she was more than ready to help, because she gave baby showers to young mothers. My friend attended the shower and she said it was a shower of Blessing for her unborn grand ,words is not sufficient for us to say what a great help this organization gave to us. It was like waking up out of a dream , all the baby will be very pleased coming into the world and having most og the things thet need now.ySaying that ,i gave 10 stars to the MELLENNUM SISTAS IT WAS A PLEASURE WORKING WITH MS HILLS AND HER ORGANIZATION THANK YOU.
I have been a RN for 3 years and have always wanted to go on a medical volunteer trip. Going to Trinidad and providing help to the people was very rewarding. Millennium Sistahs Inc. provides needed services to the communities they visit. It was a pleasure to work with Millennium Sistahs and I hope to join them again soon.
By reference Millennium Sistahs has reached out to me and my charity many times and offered food supplies, school supplies and physical help to transport items at times when we were in dire need. I've seen first hand the work Ms White and her volunteers do to get food supplies to the low incme residents of Uniondale, New York. This organization extends itself locally and internationally in the areas of aids awareness; bringing US trained doctors and other health care personnel to the Caribbean and Africa, health and personal care supplies to developing countries
I like the the teamwork, the services offered to the community and patients (in clinics), and the dedication to serving and giving to those in need.
This organization has definitely raise the bar. I am extremely proud to know that we have such a caring and visible organization here on Long Island!
