MVACA, has pinpointed the strategy that makes the most sense in the fight against child abuse and that is teaching prevention to children while they are young enough to absorb and retain the information. I intend to implement their books in the children's shelter I am employed at.

I think it is important to teach young children the importance of safety.
Because of their young ages they are learning their abc's and 123's and at the same time learning about safety in a fun way.
This is a great program.

Military Veterans Against Child Abuse is one of the most compassionate organizations I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Not only are they responsive but they stick by their cause with integrity and open hearts. i contacted the organization about a young boy who suffered horrible abuse. I was advocating for him and his family to drum up support in the form of letters , cards and notes as this young boy faced brain surgery and a long recovery. I contacted MVACB on social media and immediately got a heart-felt response ! They gave me invaluable advice as an advocate and encouraged me to start a Facebook page for the family and they shard Eli's story & page calling their followers to send notes of healing . There was no resistance only openness and genuine concern for all effected by child abuse. I will not hesitate to contact them in the future for advice or assistance !

I have watched this nonprofit change lives- one little life at a time. This program contains amazing information that is gathered up and all found in one place! The delivery format is perfect for young children. It is encouraging, non scary and quite engaging. The children love it and they are learning very important information to keep them safe in the home, on the streets, in the car and in the presence of strangers. I highly recommend it to everyone with young children in their life. Let's spread the word!!! A program that actually works!!

As military veterans who have traveled the world and experienced different cultures, one similarity is always constant, the protection of children. Military Veterans Against Child Abuse, uses this unique experience to reach out in the community, develop training programs designed to educate, raise awareness, to ensure the safety of our children. Sharon Blacknall has created a program that teaches our young children between the ages of 3-5 about their ABC'S, 123's, Stranger Danger and Bullying in a way they can understand it. She would always say if we teach them when they are young they would know what to do if the bad person approaches them. I think she has done an amazing job! It is a great program! Every child should go through the program.
