I volunteer with MOMS. I am so proud of the way we work, deliberately and carefully to empower some of the poorest women on earth. We give them tools to become change agents and to provide good reproductive health care.
MOMS leadership has integrity, humility and patience. The notion of partnership is important - but a specific kind of partnership. This partnership doesn't have senior or junior members, but all groups contribute from their strengths and help others in their weaknesses.

Causes: Community Improvement & Capacity Building, Health, Reproductive Health Care, Reproductive Rights
Mission: We prepare women to provide excellent maternal health care, connect communities to the health care system, teach community members about their health, and solve problems affecting women and children.
Results: We have trained and certified 750 community health workers. They serve communities with about 400,000 women and girls.
