When i first happened across Midwest Veterans Outreach, they were in a small storefront area with very little room for what they had. I was imoressed with the store operator and his commitment to help veterans and the local community. My wife and I became regular customers and continue to this day. As Midwest was at the initial start, the store continues to be active in its mission in helping veterans and the local community. As a veteran myself, this rings very loud bells in my heart and mind that such aupport is there. Tge store has recently grown, as it needed to, because the room they had from the outset, was innsufficient for theur needs. Now, they are better able to provide the overstock they had before, to be able to provide everything they have had donated in their efforts to help others. The manager, Jame, goes the "extra mile" in helping veterans and others to find items that people may be looking for. He, and those thay work along side him, are truly volunteers in every sense.
As a Veteran of the United States Marine, I do not support this store. Not only is the owner a registered offender, his shop is conveniently placed within 500 feet of a park with a pool. So many people defend this and it's repulsive.
I have helped out at Midwest Veterans and they try to help as much as they can. James Williams is a really good man
So happy to know someone in my area is doing what they can to help our Veterans and the community.... and we can do a little bit to help by donating unwanted items we have around the house or going in the store and purchasing a very reasonably priced treasure that someone has donated.
Thank you for all you do
Recently had an eviction notice that fell in between the moratorium and congress actions, these people helped me and got the eviction cancelled and helped to pay some of my expenses for my family. They also supplied me with a back brace for my damaged lumbar spine, and this brace cost about $2500. and they gave it to me FREE. You have to really appreciate someone that just using service to vets as an advertising scheme, these folks are FOR REAL, Please help support them, these are people we need.
