I was fortunate to be a Guardian and was able to escort an American hero who served during the Korean War to Washington D.C. to see the memorials for our Veterans. What an experience this organization offers our most senior Vets by recognizing their service to our nation! If you really want thank a service member, this is the ultimate!

My grandfather and I participated in Midwest Honor Flight in September 2018. From the time we arrived until we went home we were treated with the utmost respect and honor. Since our experience my grandfather has not stopped talking about how wonderful Midwest Honor Flight is and he is convincing every veteran he knows to apply for this program. Our veterans were willing to give everything for their country and bringing them to DC to see their memorials is the least we can do to thank them for their service.

Midwest Honor Flight does a fantastic job transporting American Vererans out to Washington DC to see their memorials. They treat our heroes with respect. This organization goes above and beyond to get Veterans their One Final Tour with Honor. I would give them 10 stars!

Midwest Honor Flight is a very deserving organization. They provide a life changing experience of a lifetime for our Veterans. I was a Guardian for my father a Korean War Veteran. He was amazed at the work and effort this organization provides and grateful to be a part of mission #2. Thank you to the committee and volunteers you are fabulous.

I do not know of a better organization that can give our veterans the honor and closure each of them so deserve. The Honor Flight Network is a great way for all those wanting to give veterans their Final Tour with Honor and a well overdue Welcome Home a chance to do good. An awesome experience for my veteran as well as myself. Seeing the look on the eyes of so many veterans as they saw their memeorials for the first time was priceless. It only seems fitting that those who are honored by the memorials should see their memorials in person.

This program was an emotional roller coaster, seeing the veterans being able to know that their legacy will be remembered is worth so much to me. These veterans deserve this and that’s why this program should be the top rated organization.

I am the marketing coordinator for MWHF and was invited on this trip to take pictures of veterans and their guardians for marketing purposes. The way the whole day was laid out was very organized, everyone was comfortable and medics were ample and ready in case of anything going wrong, which thankfully nothing did! Seeing the emotion on these veteran's faces and in their body language was something that is implanted into my brain, especially the Vietnam vets. The feedback from those who went on the trip as well as family members who sent them was more than encouraging. It opened my eyes to just how much going to these memorials means to these veterans who wouldn't have gotten to see them if it weren't for the Honor Flight. These memorials show that our vets were part of a time where luxuries we have today didn't exist. It shows that what they did for us has made a difference. Getting to hear their stories as they reminisce on the pride they have for what they did for our country can give anyone a wake up call. They lost friends and brothers in these wars, they fought for our freedoms. In a time where people are fighting against our soldiers and our flag, it was a positive experience to see what our soldiers and our flag did to this country and our soldiers.

This was the most amazing experience. From the send off banquet to the welcome home, it was so wonderful watching those veterans and seeing how grateful they were for this experience I was honored to be a part of this day and being able to give them the respect they deserve for all the sacrifices they have made for our freedoms.

Wonderful experience!! My husband is a vietnam vet and I went as a guardian. We met so many wonderful people. The trip was a roller coaster if emotions for all that attended. It was a well deserved tribute to our American heros, many of which never received the recognition they deserved when they returned home from war.
