backpack buddies program provides weekend backpacks of food (3 meals and 2 snacks) for 31 weeks, and it serves approximately 740 elementary school children in free and reduced price lunch programs in various elementary schools in midland county. In 2014, the program provided 22,940 backpacks of food.
the mobile food pantry is a "food give away" program held with the cooperation of the food bank of eastern michigan, hidden harvest, the organization, community agencies, and churches.
