Notre Dame is no longer a Catholic school. A significant Operations funding source is the Mangano Foundation whose Board consists of Maggie Mangano and her accountant Michael S. Hoover. These parties also sit on the Board of the former Notre Dame--Hoover is the Treasurer of the former NDA as well--and they are wholly controlling Board members by terms of a mortgage placed in 2008. The name of the school is to be changed this year. Student enrollment at present for the upcoming school year is said to be about l/2 capacity.
