Mission: Mwnmcap is an organization representing and assisting community programs. These programs provide services in the counties of valencia, socorro, catron, cibola and mckinley, new mexico.
Programs: The head start program delivered comprehensive services to foster healthy development of children ages 3 - 5 from low-income families, including disabled children. Approximately 824 children have enrolled in the program.
community services block grant - services and activities having a measurable and potentially major impact on causes of poverty. Activities to assist low-income participants to secure and retain meaningful employment, maintain adequate housing, health services and food. Provide emergency food and related services. Coordinate and establish links between governmental and other social services. Encourage the use of entities in the private sector of the community to reduce poverty.
