I had a young wounded warrior in desperate need of transportation to get to his multiple medical appointments as well as a way to see his 2 young sons. I turned to Michigan Bikers Helping Veterans in hopes of a small donation to help towards a car. Not only did they approve the donation, they purchased a car for him! Years later, after he was able to heal better mentally, physically and emotionally, he got a good job and bought a new car. He in turn, paid it forward by gifting that car to another veteran in need. What a blessing!

Outstanding organization of volunteers who are proud patriots and strongly stand with our veterans. They offer assistance (hand up) to Michigan Veterans in need of a little help. Members volunteer their time to raise funds and educate the public on how important it is to support our Vet's not only the active, but many that come home and have struggles.

I'm a decorated Vietnam Combat Veteran, and there are a lot of charities out there that take the money given for veterans and don't use it where its suppose to go. I've seen the organization at work, and I see where the money goes, and it goes right to the veterans. They are all volunteers, and I have never seen anyone from the organization take a penny for all they do. In the big veteran charities, monies taken in go to the CEO's and other people on the Board of Directors. Thousands go to people running the organizations and not to the veterans. No one on the MBHV Board takes any money for what they do. It all goes back to the veterans it was raised for. They have my support because of this. They give the utmost respect to us Veterans.

My husband and I have been involved with Michigan Bikers Helping Veterans for several years. It has been an honor and a privilege to be associated with this group of Patroits who love our veterans and this country. We look forward and plan our vacation around the Hero's Ride each July where we can see the Michigan Countryside and help raise money for our Michigan Veterans in need. It warms my heart each time I see a Thank You letter from one of the veterans we have helped. Some of the Veterans we have helped include a veteran who need a helping hand keeping their water and electricity on to keep CPS from taking their kids. We are here to lend a helping hand up for veterans who need their roof fixed, car repairs so they can get back and forth to work and in many other ways where assistance is needed to help our veterans get over a rough patch. I love this group and all associated with it and will continue to donate money and help out at each fund raiser when ever I can to continue helping our Veterans. "Their dedication never faltered, and neither shall ours."

I have been with the organization since 2007. The dedication to helping our Veterans here in Michigan has been an honor and a privilege. To know we could help a Veteran in a time of desperate need is a blessing.

I have been involved with this organization since it's inception and can attest to the amazing work which it has accomplished over the years by raising and allocating funds to address the immediate needs of veterans who find themselves in a position of financial distress. As a result, evictions have been prevented, electric bills have been paid, vehicles have been repaired to allow vets to get to their jobs and, literally, food has been put on the table.

No one involved in the work of this group received a dime, and no personal expenses are reimbursed-it all goes to our Michigan veterans.

This is a wonderful group. They have helped numerous Veterans. They are a very active group, in attending Funerals for our Veterans, raising money to help Veterans with their Bills and repairs on their homes. They are always willing to help and give their Support. Lend a hand or an ear when a Veteran needs some one to talk to. I am very proud of this group and ALL they do..

We started going to events by this organization back in 2012. They do an outstanding job helping veterans who are in a financial crisis. Many go above and beyond to help and find what is needed in desperate situations. We loved this organization and how it was ran so much, that we ourselves began volunteering with them. The people that are involved care so deeply for veterans, and give and show respect to them, regardless of their situation.

As a veteran, I support this charity 100%. I have personal knowledge of all the good that they do. I also participle in their annual Heroes Ride to help raise money for our Michigan Veterans in need.
