I began learning about the atrocities of human trafficking when I attended a conference some years ago. During that time I had the opportunity to volunteer for the Michigan Abolitionist Project (MAP). I was able to help jump start some new volunteer and fundraising opportunities that under Kathy Maitland's leadership has grown expediently. Her tireless efforts to educate, and engage people to take action is making a difference in our communities! MAP will continue to be a strong force for good with people like YOU! Together we can stop the demand that exploits MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN!

Michigan Abolitionist Project was the first organization to introduce me to the evils of human trafficking here in the US. Not only that but they gave me the tools needed to plug in and help make a difference, this is key! Their organization educates and helps to equip everyday people in the fight.
Keep up the good work MAP!

The job they do in promoting awareness and collaboration with other organizations is impressive. Thank you, MAP for fighting the good fight against human trafficking here in Michigan and elsewhere!

Michigan Abolitionist Project - MAP is making great progress at creating awareness and educating the people of Michigan to the issues of Human Trafficking in our world today. They have worked with law enforcement agency to recognize the victims of Trafficking are the true victims and not the people who need to be prosecuted. Education on stopping the demand, so we have less victim to heal from this abuse. Linking groups together to have a bigger impact on this horrible crime against people.

The Michigan Abolitionist Project is an organization which seeks to prevent human trafficking through education and community engagement. Their passionate team works hard to raise awareness on on an issue which is as dangerous as it is frequently misunderstood. They create and give thorough presentations providing information about human trafficking. MAP also consists of dedicated volunteer groups all across east to west Michigan who are responsible for spreading information to their communities and participating in anti-trafficking activities. This is a hard-working and genuine organization which truly addresses and wants to prevent one of the most terrible issues in the world. I look forward to attending more sessions to learn more!
