Programs: Season extra - produced a fully staged musical, fiddler on the roof, in cooperation with the dayton playhouse. The audience received program books containing commentary and history of the production. This production had an attendance of roughly 1800. The audience was able to hear the musical with a full symphony orchestra, accordion, and mandolin as called for in the original score rather than with the typical reduced pit orchestra with keyboards. This project provided opportunity for over 140 non paid musicians, vocal soloists and chorus, as well as technical staff from the community to further their musical education and experience
classical concert series: produced 3 public symphony orchestra concerts during the regular season with an approximate attendance of 625. The audiences were provided with both program booklets containing cultural commentary as well as educational discussion by the music director at the performances
produced a free christmas holiday performance at the dayton masonic center open to the public. Attendance was approximately 1600. The audience received program material containing cultural music education commentary and the music director shared additional insights during the concert. Community vocal soloists as well as the gem city ballet were featured as guest performers with the orchestra. Over 90 no paid musicians, singers, and dancers from the community furthered their musical and performance experience
