Mission: Miami Learning Experience School promotes a safe and peaceful environment that encourages individualized academic, social, and emotional growth for all children and adults with developmental disabilities. We provide our students with the necessary tools to go beyond the classroom and become active members of the community. In an atmosphere of trust and dedication, Miami Learning Experience School seeks the active learning of all students. Miami Learning Experience School (MLE) upholds a commitment in three pillars of strength for individuals with disabilities during their toddler to adult life cycle: Academics - Independence - Community.

Programs: Our educational programs are individually planned and monitored to tap into the unique learning styles of each student. We implement a distinctive arrangement of teaching procedures, adapted equipment and materials designed to help learners with special needs achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and increased self-esteem. All our students are on an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). These are developed on an annual basis together with the educational team, therapists, and parents. Long and short-term objectives are identified and taught systematically and individually along the developmental continuum. Our curriculum programs and specialized resources have been adopted to suit a variety of individual needs and learning styles. The curriculum programs and resources include the following: TOUCH MATH, LEARNING A-Z, PCI ED, STECK VAUGHN, EDMARK, SYMBOLSTIX PRIME, MC GRAW HILL, UNIQUE & MEYER JOHNSON.
