(mbyfs) is djj & dcf licensed organization with coa accreditation specializing in providing emergency youth shelter care, non-residential family crisis intervention counseling and truancy diversion services to children and families in crisis in miami dade county, with an emphasis on high risk communities. Mbyfs is committed to working with homeless youth population in the community, families of diverse economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. For the fiscal year mbyfs provided 8,765 shelter care days, 2,205 screenings & 350 face to face assessments.
