Mission: To preserve and extend affordable housing in michigan through the acquisition and operation of multifamily residential real estate for low and very low income tenants.
Programs: Mht housing, inc. For the year ended 3/31/17 received three low income housing awards totaling 316 units. These projects will provide for 280 renovated units for preservation in the low income housing system. Thirty-six of these units will be new construction low income units by partnering with an inner city non-profit. These projects will house approximately 973 low income individuals. In addition, over the last year mht has completed the renovation of 178 low-income housing units which in total will house approximately 223 low income senior individuals.
