Mexican Medical Ministries is an interdenominational non-profit organization, founded in 1963, dedicated to providing low or no-cost health care to the people of Mexico in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Our passion is to bring God''s healing touch to the total person. The redemptive work of God touches the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual condition of humankind. In accomplishing this mission of bringing healing and hope to the people of Mexico, Mexican Medical Ministries seeks to empower people to work together to carry out the "Great Commission."

Geographic areas served: Mexico (states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, and Chiapas)

Programs: Many American and Canadian physicians donate their services to help meet the needs of Mexicans. Donated medicines are given, free of charge, to patients who are unable to purchase them. MMI also assists other mission organizations by supplying medical supplies, equipment, medicine and clothing. MMI assists the national church in making the Gospel of Christ available to Mexican children. MMI also provides the opportunity to minister to residents of the dump yards in Tijuana, by passing out Bibles and sharing personal testimonies. Among MMIs recent accomplishments were providing treatment for more than 45,000 patients, performing 1,600 major surgeries and presenting the Gospel to an estimated 55,000 people.

I went on a medical mission trip to Tijuana with this organization in early December of 2012. I have been on two brigades with another organization in the past so I thought I knew fully what to expect, but they managed to impress me still. Everything was hassle-free as the trip was well organized and well designed in structure. They even utilized locals to help overcome language barriers that might have existed between the Spanish-speaking patients and some of the non-Spanish-speaking volunteers. I will be attending more mission trips with this organization and hope to bring along many others. Please help us impact lives
