MALDEF is a very thoughtful and strategic organization. The President and General Counsel is a stellar example of leadership. The organization understands the needs of the Latino community and how to leverage legal and community strategies to empower the community. The organization tracks real results from both its litigation, policy and community strategies.

MAELDEF is agreat organization that protects the interest of the more than 50 million Latinos living in the United Staes. It ensures that all have equal opportunities in education, healthcare, public policy and economic prosperity. The work MALDEF does and has done has opened the doors to many in our community live out our drerams, be it attaining a college education of our choice, to being fairly represented by government to defending the rights of theose without a voice.

I live in arizona and they routinely represent the Hispanic community on civil right violations and also to educate our community on what court rules mean for our community. They are one of a few organizations in the country that fight for Voter Rights protection
