I have worked on two Health Fair Projects with Rev. Melinda Moore and Agape Health Clinic. I love this woman's zeal for Human Affairs. Recently, her board put together their 14th annual Health Fair, in making the community aware of National HIV awareness month. 18 Healthcare providers attended and loaded over 150 attendees with tons of information on Healthy Eating, HIV Testing, Blood Pressure checks, Blood Sugar checks, Exercise demonstrations (tips from a certified Zumba instructor) and Nutrition. The hard work ethics of planning, soliciting donations from local businesses, (Washington Business owner YOU ROCK!!!) and food donations as well really, paid off and met the mark on Giving back to the community. I live for this type of "Giving" ... Now on to the next one...
