I picked MetroPlus through NY's health exchange because it looked like a decent plan. So far, it has been awful. Mainly, I have had a terrible time getting listed in their database as a member for service or meds. I received their confirmation via snail email on 1/13/14, and tried to get meds on the 1/24. Oh, they never mailed a benefit card, so I got my info over the phone. My coverage was denied and, over the course of 3 days on the phone with various customer service reps, some of my meds went through, except for a "preauthorization." I have yet to get that approved, 5 days later, because they still can't find me in another database. The customer service reps were actually quite nice. But in the end, really? This is my first month of service. Go with someone else.
